3DS firmware has been updated to v4.0.0-7 today.This time firmware update will provide the free download patch for Mario Kart 7 so that enable users to create folders on the system’s Home Menu.Yeah,at the same time,some flashcart has been blocked ,such as dstwo.But still some popular 3ds cards,such as r4i gold 3ds,r4isdhc 3ds as well as ak2i has bypassed this block.Here i will take acekard 2i 3ds as example.

Steps

1.Download the latest firmware v1.89 here : Ak2i firmware V1.89

2.Unzip it,open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card and insert it into you ak2i.

3.Put ak2i into your 3ds and power your 3ds,then you will enter the home menu

4.press the icon Deep Labyrinth Digital Bros and enter the akaio GUI
